About Us

Camilla S
I’m Camilla and I first got interested in marine biology at a science camp at the Marine Science Institute in elementary school. I am fascinated by the extent of species that have developed in the ocean as well as ocean preservation. I am organized and work well in groups and am the team leader for this ROV challenge. I am new to building and design, so it will be interesting for me to learn how to use all the tools. Also, I am excited to see what our ROV can accomplish.

Tiffany Mathew
Hello! My name is Tiffany and I am fascinated with the deep blue ocean! I grew up watching many documentaries regarding the mysterious depths of the sea and what struck me, is that scientists predict that we only know about 5% of the inhabitants! I believe that this new project will allow us gain knowledge on ROVs and what scientist are now using to explore the ocean. In addition, I am excited to be allowing my creative juices flow and to build something different!

Kevin Yan
Hello! I my name is Kevin, and I am very excited to work with my group on this ROV project. I have very little experience in marine biology except for a few classes that I have taken this year and in middle school. Some ways that I can be useful to this team is my organization and basic technological skills. The part of this project that I am most excited for is building a working ROV and seeing it work underwater.

Brandon Im

My name is Brandon, and I’ve loved and been fascinated by the ocean since I was little. So far, I’ve been taking a marine bio course at my high school. Skills that I can bring to the table for this project, are my hard working personality and diligence. I’m most excited and interested in seeing how our ROV will fair, and what our knowledge can help us accomplish.
